About me
ICF Ireland Director of Events 2017
After 14 years’ experience in waste management and IT, it was time for a career change when redundancy came along. The timing, of course, was perfect as I believe everything in life happens for a reason and it’s up to us to make our own choices and I completed my Diploma in Personal and Business Coaching with the Irish Life Coach Institute in 2011. Coaching has had a massive personal impact on my life and it was a natural progression to work in this field and I have been coaching ever since.
As well as a BA in Public Administration from my previous life, I am continuously deepening my own understanding of Coaching and the nature of our human experience. I have Certificates in Career Coaching and Couples Coaching, am an authorised Parenting Your Teen Trainer and a qualified 3 Principles Facilitator. I have the privilege of being a skills assessor on the ILI coach training program and being part of new coaches’ adventure. I have a special interest in Fertility Coaching working with women and couples on their family building journey. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the 2017 Director of Events for the ICF Ireland Chapter.
Since 2011 Siobhan has worked with clients from the medical field, IT, education, business and individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals.

ICF Ireland
ICF Ireland is the Irish Chapter of the International Coach Federation. ICF GLobal’s vision statement is:
“Coaching is an integral part of a thriving society and every ICF Member represents the highest quality of professional coaching”.
In January 2016, I was delighted to be invited to join the ICF Ireland Board as Director of Events. Our goal this year is to support new and existing members by providing engaging education, learning and networking events that help connect and grow the community within Ireland.
We invite you to attend as many ICF Ireland events as possible and we are always looking for new and innovative events that enrich the personal and professional lives of all those who attend, so feel free to get in touch.

So if you are ready to be brave and take the next step to book coaching: Go You!!
Just so you know the purpose of coaching is to help you to achieve your goals and for you to be the best you that you can be. A big part of this is understanding where our experience of life comes from in any moment.
Coaching is different from counselling or therapy in that it is all about moving forward rather than focusing on the past. It’s not about offering advice or telling you what to do, so know that you are the person who will need to do the work t it’s ok as you already have everything you need to get there.
You can book individual sessions or flexible programmes depending on what you need to achieve your goals. I am happy to meet in person where possible but remember I live in Dublin 15
Call us on +353-86-8243267, email or use the contact us form to get in touch. We can arrange a free initial consultation by phone or in person to cater for your needs.

How coaching works in reality
- Coaching sessions are arranged at a time to suit you and are generally at my office in Castleknock Dublin. We can also arrange to meet on client sites/meeting room if available, or by phone or online video call such as Zoom/Skype/Facetime or phone.
- Evening appointments are available usually on a Monday Wednesday and Thursday evening.
- Sessions are usually 60 to 90 minutes in duration. You decide how many sessions are needed. Typically, clients have at least four sessions or more, depending on how they progress towards their goal.
- A simple coaching agreement is prepared and signed by the coach and client – so that each understands what the other commits to.
- Clients must be over 16, and if under 18, a consent form must be signed by a parent or guardian – sessions can take place in the student’s home.

Skype Coaching
So you’ve made a decision coaching is for you, then there is the small matter of location in your way or even just the busyness of life leaving little time in the calendar to schedule
Coaching on line is a fantastic efficient way to make sure you get the benefits of coaching without it negatively impacting your practical day to day life. Feel free to turn up in your comfy slippers but remember the video is usually on. It’s not how you do your coaching but the fact that you take action and invest in yourself and do coaching that counts.
I use zoom or Skype as my online platform but have also used gotomeeting and other platforms so I am open to whatever works best for you.
I love a good coffee so if the opportunity is available to meet 1:1 then great, if not online is a great 2nd option.
